Working meticulously, holistically he has devised treatment techniques to that it can benefit individuals staying abroad who can visit the office only once in three or four months and yet achieve phenomenal results.
Dr. Tushar M. Hegde has completed his Graduation and Post-Graduation from the esteemed SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Dharwad which is one of the premier Dental Institutes in India. He had many distinctions and laurels to his credit during his academic career such as standing first in Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in the final year post graduation exams held in March 2002. He is the President of ‘Lingual Orthodontic Society of India’.
He is one of the pioneers in Invisible braces treatment in India and he conceptualised the concept of ‘Smile with Braces‘ for his young adult patients. He has improvised the treatment technique in such a way that the patients can visit him once in 3 or 4 months and yet get excellent results in less than a year’s time using the latest concept of self-ligating techniques and AOO. He has a lot of clients from the aviation industry, film industry, MNC’s, Chartered Accountants, lawyers, bureaucrats, and of course students. He has conducted more than 28 Workshops training more than 1,000 orthodontists in India and abroad. He has been invited to various national and international conferences for delivering lectures and has played a key role in promoting Invisible Braces treatment in the Indian sub continent.
Dr. Tushar M. Hegde is a full-time clinician and is a consultant to various esteemed hospitals and clinics in Mumbai. He is the Director of Locus Lingual Orthodontic Training Institute, which is one of the First such institute in India which regularly conducts workshops for Orthodontists to train them in Lingual Orthodontics.
He is an Expert in Invisible Braces treatment and a certified Doctor for the ‘3M Incognito System’, ‘Invisalign’ and ‘Smilealigners .
